Hannes Jacob Syndrome
Sensitive disorder

For sensitives that I would qualify as disturbed, I have been able to observe a particular disorder. Based on these observations, I have written a paper entitled Hannes Jacob Syndrome/Sensitive disorder. Dr. Laura Martignon from the Max Planck Institute and the late Dr. Ulla Mitzdorfer, both professors at the University of Ludwigsburg, endorsed my work so that I could submit my paper under Open Access (scientific publications). Thus the community of interested doctors, professors, and scientists can not only access my original postulate, but also develop a procedure to validate my hypothesis.

A person who has gone for too long without grounding will suffer the medical and energetic side effects described in the chapter under the same name. Lack of grounding also causes psychotic episodes, or even chronic psychoses. It is not surprising that psychiatry classifies a person who sees things or hears voices as “schizophrenic”. Yet, just because a patient hears things that make no sense or which are not related to the present time or events, does not make them a schizophrenic. He or she is suffering from sensitive disorder! My experience with the spiritual world has confirmed many times that a so-called “schizophrenic” can in fact be a sensitive who lacks grounding and is in a permanent state of excessive air.
Long-term unchanneled sensitivity can lead to a psychotic state! The way we diagnose in this case, must change, or at least be broader, in order to be able to distinguish between clinical schizophrenia and sensitive disorder! Without going into detail, here are some suggestions for reflection with respect to certain criteria that are used to diagnose schizophrenia. Those who are interested can consult the reference manual DSM-5 (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, American Psychiatric Association, 2013). It should be noted that the sub-types of schizophrenia no longer appear in the updated version of the DSM-5; however, for enhanced understanding they will be mentioned here.

Schizophrenia appears in various clinical charts, either with a predominance of so-called “negative” symptoms or that of so-called “positive” symptoms. These two categories of symptoms are also present in sensitive disorders. Indeed, mediumship uses rapid frequencies to establish and maintain contact with the deceased. Once the session is over, the medium may feel mentally and physically tired, as if he were drained of his energy. Regular practice of mediumship brings the medium great joy, excitement and enthusiasm. He or she takes pleasure in moving within these rapid frequencies and experiences a certain amount of euphoria. Coming out of this leads to a state that can be compared to depression. Thus, the medium that is unaware of this risk can start to become dependent and trigger a cycle that alternates between a state of euphoria and one of depression. I have already mentioned that sugary foods can become palliatives that give one the illusion of returning to a “high” energy level. Alcohol and cannabis are also used as substitutes. During the depressive phases, the medium may neglect himself or herself, his or her personal hygiene and his or her housekeeping. He or she suffers from generalized apathy and discouragement. Some hyper-sensitives then decide to cut themselves off completely from their surrounding environments, isolating themselves and carefully avoiding any interaction with others. Since an individual cannot retract his sensitive antennae, he constantly perceives the stimuli around him. This situation becomes unmanageable and he prefers to go into isolation. In extreme cases, this isolation becomes a way to function in society outside of his work as a medium. The person protects himself so completely that he loses all notion of the impact his words or behaviours have on other people. He no longer sees the consequences on those who associate with him. From the outside, the medium appears cold, emotionless, lacking in empathy, hard and even cruel. This toughness of character can obviously hurt those with whom he is in contact. These negative symptoms have been described in the “simple” sub-type of schizophrenia (active coldness, lack of interest, apathy, depression, chronic fatigue, etc.) and are relatively unknown to the general public. The following symptoms, called “positive”, which are notably described in two types of schizophrenia, are found most frequently in sensitive disorder: hallucinations (auditory, visual, coenesthetic, etc.) and delirious ideas (persecution, paranoia, special mission, special rank, etc.) are characteristic of so-called “paranoid” schizophrenia, while drug abuse is frequent in schizophrenia of the “heboidophrenic” type and in the sensitive can be the result of an intense desire to know God or of some unidentified inner call that he cannot satisfy. Regarding hallucinations, one must also consider the complexity of the definition of the term. A person who only uses his five senses will consider anything he does not perceive through them to be a hallucination. Thus, for example, (…)

Karma cause and effect

Le passé est écrit dans le présent
Tant d’avenir dépend de si peu de présent
Le présent est tout
et l’unique moment que nous pouvons influencer

According to the Buddhist and Hindu teachings on the continuity of life in the afterlife, and especially with respect to reincarnation, personal thought is registered.

The Sanskrit word “karma” simply means “cause and effect”. In the western world, “karma” is especially used to designate negative causes or effects. This very idea is false! Karma can be good or bad, and even neutral. Indeed, it is simply an event or a chain of events that lead to effects, a sort of logical series. We have the ability to grasp the causes and effects in our present life. Yet we can hardly believe that some aspects of a past life can have effects on our present one.

Karma can be described in several ways. Sogyal Rinpoche, author of The Tibetan Book on Life and Death, describes karma as a pile of playing dice. Each of the dice represents a different entity. Though each is different they are connected and dependent on each other in a logical manner. A candle flame is a good example of karma’s cause and effect relation. Where we think we see only one flame, it is in fact millions of flames in succession, each one depending on the one before it. The information that is us resonates with some of the other information but not all of it. When we die, the spirit that is us leaves its charnel envelope with all the information it contains. By reincarnating, the spirit still contains all the information that has not been dissolved. The dissolution of this information can take place from birth to death, in order to get out of the cycle of reincarnation and become only essence. The Tibetan Buddhists call this process “bardo”. This is why karma is a series of logical events organized by our own thought and our stored memory. God does not place anything we encounter in our path. He is not responsible for our destinies either. Our information resonates with people and situations. Like a magnet attracted to a piece of iron or the negative pole of another magnet.

Healing

I give myself to You
So that the best will happen
I give myself to You
For their greatest good
I give myself to You
So You may do your work
I give myself to You
So that your light may fill those who
Ask
I let go
For it’s their role
To keep it

Healing… what a term!

Where healing is concerned, it is easy to get lost in philosophical ideas. These discussions often include, as a starting point, the fact that removing a symptom does not mean the person is healed.

With a wink, I’ll just quote Detlefson and Dahlke who provided an ironic illustration of allopathic medicine in the following example:

A gentleman takes his car to the mechanic:

— « Sir, my low oil pressure light is blinking! »
— « Let me fix that» says the mechanic.
He removes the bulb and says to the client:
— « Look, your light isn’t blinking any more… »

The discussion on healing tends to run along the same line. Removing something harmful does not necessarily mean “healing”.

To start with, it must be accepted that most physical afflictions are either psychosomatic or are the physical body’s reactions to a sick spirit. For example, stress is one cause of stomach ulcers. These ulcers can be treated with a simple operation. Yet the patient is still not relieved of his stress. That’s why the term “healing” is delicate and often incorrectly used. In every single case, no physical or mental disorder can coexist with a healthy energy. These concepts are totally incompatible. The energy is necessarily affected.

Communicating with the spirit

“Spirit, are you there?”
What a question, dear one
“Are you truly there?”
I walk beside you
always
whether you miss me or not
never more
than a wink away
a simple breath
a heartbeat
with you
before you can raise your eyes
faster than a thought
even before
you were able to ask me
I am spirit
your angel that guards you

To communicate between these two worlds, the medium places him- or herself into a second state, which can be described as a sort of excitement. It is in this state that he is best able to receive information telepathically. This excitement, as with joy, stage fright, or enchantment, consists of rapid vibrations. Once the medium is in this “second state”, he extends his field and asks the spirit of the deceased to approach so that the medium’s field can read that of the spirit. He then translates the information received “to the client”.

The spiritual world evolves at a higher frequency than ours. To be able to enter into contact with this high frequency, the medium must accelerate his vibration and the spiritual world has to slow its own. Communication takes place somewhere between the two frequencies. Any information that is transmitted by the spiritual world is received telepathically and transcribed by the medium. Despite its irrefutable proof, mental mediumship will never be an exact science. Let us try and understand why:

The deceased’s spirit sends its information via telepathy. This information is received through the channels described in the chapter on sensitivity. The channels used to receive information are clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairolfactance, clairgustance, and claircognizance (ESP). The translation to the intellect is done in a subjective manner, in other words in the medium’s head.

Trance

The Dalai Lama is still alive, because he was able to flee and avoid being captured by the Chinese. The monk connects with the deity “Nechung” and gives advice. Here is what the Dalai Lama said about this in 2002:

“For hundreds of years now, it has been traditional for the Dalai Lama and the government to consult Nechung during the New Year’s festivals. Additionally, he may indeed be called upon at other times if either have specific questions. I myself speak with him several times a year. This may sound far-fetched to twentieth century western readers… But I do so for the simple reason that as I look back over the many occasions when I have asked questions of the oracle, on each one of them time has proved that his answer was correct… Surprising as it may seem, the oracle’s replies to questions are rarely vague. As
in the case of my escape from Lassa, he is often very specific. (Dalai Lama, 2002)”

An energy unlike the others

In a trance, the energy is stronger than the energy in spiritual healing, because the connection is stronger and deeper. This can be seen in the following example:

A very well-built and powerful man was enrolled for about a year in my TT (Therapeutic Touch) and spiritual healing classes. This man, who was quite gifted, channelled energy very well. Given his capacities, I invited him to participate in my private trance circle. He accepted joyfully. One evening, he joined us. The group of six people was seated in a circle around me. The entire group put their minds in a trance to provide me with that energy in order to enable me to use it for my own trance and be a voice for the spirit world. When we took a break, the man I had invited was feeling unwell. He explained that he had a pacemaker which, for the first time, in a long time, had started to overload. He had to leave the group. Never, in his entire course in spiritual healing, had he had the least problem. Two weeks later he asked if he might come back to my trance circle to try again as he was very interested in our work. We went through the same procedure with the same result: the pacemaker went awry again. After this latter attempt we concluded that the energy produced in a trance was too much for him.

One of the most frequent applications for trance is healing. The correct term is thus “trance healing”, which is in fact a form of spiritual healing, in a more detached, relaxed and interiorised state that is deeper and often more intense.

Before I could even utter something as simple as “hello” or a basic phrase, it took me six years of sitting, just as it took Chris Denton fourteen years and Bill Meadows seventeen before being able physically express something (you will learn more about Bill in the chapter on physical mediumship). So, don’t give up on your training, develop your patience and your patients or future students will thank you!

Pranism

Challenging the ordinary with the extraordinary is difficult and dangerous to do. It raises too many fears: fear of having to reconsider a lifetime of erroneous thinking, fear of being ridiculed by peers, fear of being socially and professionally sidelined, as was the talented Carl Jung by a narrow-minded Sigmund Freud for having had the effrontery to be interested in metaphysics. I was greatly encouraged by the documentary on the Ray Maor experiment. In fact, when I watched it, I was in southern India and was being initiated into pranic nourishment, all alone and quite isolated. I myself was not hungry at any time. In fact, I was not thirsty either and only occasionally missed the taste of certain flavours. The first week without water was very difficult for me. The fourth day, I saw myself dying. I was alone and lying on my bed, unable to even get up any more. That is when I saw my spirit leave my body and I was able, from above, to contemplate my body lying on a forest floor, while physically I was on my bed, in a hired studio. I didn’t understand what was happening to me, but I remember letting go. I can’t tell if I went to sleep or if I fainted. Several hours went by – it’s impossible for me to say how many; it could have been one hour or three. I came to myself peacefully, filled with a new serenity and very happy. Then I felt the first very cold drop on my palate, at the Lalana spot, the throat chakra situated between Vishuddi and Bindu. I was nevertheless hot, because in that season the temperature can go up to 37°C (98.6°F). The nights are cooler, but still hot. Where could that drop, so cold, so rich and so incredibly refreshing, have come from? I received several; as I learned later, they are called “Amrita”, i.e. “divine nectar”.

Physical reading exercise

This exercise allows recent events that took place in a person’s life to be read. When we say “recent events”, we mean pertinent ones, unusual events such as buying oneself a new pair of shoes, having had a punctured tyre, being unusually late for work, or meeting someone by chance or by appointment. Things like personal hygiene, meals, etc. are part of everyone’s daily lives and are routine occurrences.

This exercise is done in pairs; with the two people seated facing each other and each taking turns to work, for fifteen minutes per person.

The first person to work will close his eyes and center himself (to do this he will inhale his ray through the fontanel and exhale from his center to expand his energy field). When he has done this, the person working will expand his energy field into that of the other person. The objective is to obtain elements from recent memory, i.e. between one and seven days prior in the life of the person opposite.

For about five minutes, the person working will allow the elements of recent memory to come to him from the other person and will make a mental note of them.

When these ten minutes have passed, the person working will open his eyes and then describe the elements received from the other person who will reply with yes or no. If the response is negative, the person who was working will note down the mistake and try to understand how he received that information. Because it is through your mistakes that you learn the most. In this way you learn to identify your mistake with respect to a correct response by learning to grasp yourself as well.

This exercise in reading the energy fields of another can be performed with information other than from recent memory. For example, you can read the first ten years of childhood, or the second ten years of life, and so on. When the fifteen minutes are up, the roles change and the other person works. A variant is to do this exercise alone by intentionally expanding your energy field towards a person who is at a distance, with their consent. The information received is written on a note pad. The exercise is carried out for about ten minutes. Then, with Skype or by phone or even using text messaging, you exchange information with the other person who will validate or invalidate it.
